IAEA Workshop on the Use of CFD Codes In Safety Analyses was held in Beijing

NSC organized an IAEA workshop on the Use of CFD Codes in Safety Analyses in 7-11 November 2011 in Beijing. This is one of the activities of the cooperation project between NSC and IAEA, namely Enhancing Capabilities of the National Research Institutes supporting the development of nuclear power”(CPR4032-3).
NSC Chief Engineer, Mr. Chai Guohan delivered a presentation on learning from Fukushima nuclear accident and considering on nuclear safety improvement.
Four IAEA experts,  Milorad DUSIC，Dominique BESTION，Brian SMITH和Francesco DAURIA, were invited to introduce CFD code and its application during safety analyses procedure. Participants from Chinese also introduced the CFD application status in China.
